Let’s start creating a Bootable USB flash drive for different windows versions like Windows 7, 8.1 and the Latest windows version 10. whole procedure is same for different windows versions.
Step 1: Download Windows .iso File
To Create Bootable USB flash drive we need .iso file of required windows version, you can donwload it from links given below:
Step 2: Download Universal USB Installer
Universal USB installer is a simple and powerful tool used to create bootable USB flash drive for both Linux OS and Windows. It’s final and last software that we need to Create Bootable USB flash drive. You can Download it from Official website of Universal USB installer.
Step 3: Create Bootable USB Flash Drive
After downloading required windows .iso file and Universal USB Installer in this last step we will create Bootable USB Flash Drive using Universal USB Installer software.
Open and Run Universal USB installer:
Click on “I Agree” to start Universal USB installer
Select Windows version from dropdown list that you have downloaded from above given links
Browse to your downloaded Windows .iso file
Follow these 4 steps.
- check the box to show all Drives connected to your computer.
- Select your USB Flash Drive
- Check the box to format your flash drive
- Click “Create” button proceed to next.
- Click YES to Start the Process
- Wait till Extracting process completes. It may take 20-30min.
- Click “Close” to finish.
